BPAC Ambassador Recruitment and Training Kicks Off for 2023 Fall Season

[CLEVELAND, MS β July 28, 2023] β This August, the Bologna Performing Arts Center (BPAC) will host trainings for its volunteer Ambassador program. BPAC Ambassadors play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of every performance at the BPAC, be it films, main stage concerts, or school-time matinees. The program offers a phenomenal opportunity for community members to volunteer and give back to the culturally rich Mississippi Delta while enjoying the best of arts and entertainment.
BPAC Ambassadors have logged thousands of hours since the Bologna Performing Arts Centerβs very first season. These dedicated volunteers will be required to attend at least one training session in August, where they will familiarize themselves with various theater policies, ensuring the highest standards of guest service and safety. Multiple training dates and times are available for interested volunteers to accommodate scheduling conflicts.
Volunteers interested in joining the Ambassador program will be assigned a variety of tasks according to the performance, including scanning tickets, ushering patrons inside the theater, greeting and answering questions, and upholding performance protocols. Ambassadors play a key role in ensuring patrons find their seats comfortably and efficiently, covering the Orchestra, Terrace, and Balcony levels. Additionally, they offer assistance with accessible seating, ensuring that all guests can enjoy the performances without any barriers.
“The BPAC Ambassador Program is an exceptional way to connect with our vibrant community and celebrate the arts,” says Cade Holder, Director of Marketing and Patron Services at BPAC. “Through their dedication and passion, our Ambassadors create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the experience of every event, making it a memorable occasion for our patrons.”
By becoming a BPAC Ambassador, volunteers not only support the arts but also forge lasting connections with fellow community members. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who share a love for culture and entertainment, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and pride in the Mississippi Delta.
