Now in its seventh year, the Bologna Performing Arts Center (BPAC) at Delta State University plans to screen new releases of major motion pictures on its big screen in the Delta & Pine Land Theatre. All tickets are $5 for general admission seating, and are available at the BPAC Ticket Office, by phone 662-846-4626, or online

All three films are rated PG and will be shown on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Popcorn and candy concessions will be available for purchase to enhance the movie experience.

The series will begin on Tuesday, February 12, with the film Wreck it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet. Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, “Sugar Rush.” In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet — the netizens — to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube. The run time is 112 minutes.

Mary Poppins Returns will be shown on Tuesday, March 5. Mary Poppins returns during Michael’s most desperate hour to lend him a helping hand. With his house in danger of being repossessed, she whips up a little magic to remind him of the importance of family. The run time is 130 minutes and stars Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, and Pixie Davies.

A Dog’s Way Home comes to the screen Tuesday, April 30. Separated from her owner, a dog sets off on a 400-mile journey to get back to the safety and security of the place she calls home. Along the way, she meets a series of new friends and manages to bring a little bit of comfort and joy to their lives. The run time is 137 minutes and stars Ashley Judd, Edward James Olmos, Alexandra Shipp, Wes Sturdi, and Barry Watson.

Tickets to see these movies are now on sale at or at the BPAC Ticket Office at 662.846.4626.
