Featuring original music by 8-time Oscar® winner ALAN MENKEN (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors), SISTER ACT tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. The Jazz Ambassadors—America’s Big Band is the official touring big band of the United States Army. This 19-member ensemble, formed in 1969, has received great acclaim both at home and abroad performing America’s original art form, jazz.

Concerts by the Jazz Ambassadors are designed to entertain all types of audiences. Custom compositions and arrangements highlight the group’s creative talent and gifted soloists. Their diverse repertoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals, and patriotic selections.

The band has appeared in all fifty states, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, and throughout Europe. Notable performances include concerts at international jazz festivals in Montreux, Switzerland; Newport, Rhode Island; Toronto, Canada; Brussels, Belgium; and the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. In 1995, the Jazz Ambassadors performed in England, Wales, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Czech Republic in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the end of World War II. The band has also been featured in unique joint concerts with major orchestras, including the Detroit and Baltimore symphonies.

Critics describe the show as a unique blend of comedy, world-champion juggling, and the extraordinary talents of more than 30 performing pets. The world famous Gregory Popovich is a fifth-generation Russian circus performer who learned early on how to develop strong bonds with animals. Popovich has rescued the animals from shelters all over the country and transformed them into stars, using positive reinforcement and working with the animals’ natural abilities to create a fun, one-of-a kind show. The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater has performed in over 20 countries, was voted “Best Family Show in Las Vegas, and has been featured on The Tonight Show, David Letterman, Animal Planet, and as a finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

picAdapted from the classic children’s book series by Stan and Jan Berenstain, The Berenstain Bears LIVE! brings everyone’s favorite bear family to life in a thrilling theatrical experience that kids as well as their parents will treasure for many years to come. Come on down to Bear Country where Brother Bear, Sister Bear, Papa Bear, and Mama Bear sing and dance in this colorful new musical filled with fun for the whole family. As always, Bear Country is not without its complications: Brother Bear’s grades are slipping, Sister Bear still has a few things to learn about making new friends, and Papa Bear just can’t stop eating junk food. Thankfully, we can always depend on Mama Bear and her loving patience to help set things right. The Berenstain Bears LIVE! will give boys and girls of all ages the chance to fall in love with these characters, just as their parents did when they were growing up.
