Downloadable Policy Agreement for Arts Camp campers
Join us for an exciting, fast-paced two-week residential camp! The MSAI Arts Camp exists to promote the artistic and creative abilities of individuals. Participants in this camp will receive wide-ranging and intensive instruction in a variety of art forms. Classes offered will include dance, vocal and instrumental music, visual arts, literary arts, and theater. The courses will provide excellent opportunities for artistic development for those with previous arts training, as well as those who are getting their first exposure to the arts. Age minimum is 12 or a rising 8th grader.
When evening rolls around, there is even more fun to be had, like cookouts, games on the quad, and visits to the Delta State pool! Campers will stay on campus at Delta State University. Arts Camp culminates with final presentations and performances that are open to the community at the Delta and Pine Land Theatre main-stage in the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
Arts Camp aims to create a space in which people can realize their dreams as they discover and develop their talents!
PLUS Camp
Ages 5-12 (rising 7th graders)
Join us for a one-week, performance-oriented day camp for ages 5-12, centered on learning a choreographed medley of songs. Campers attend other classes throughout the day, such as Prop and Set Design, Storytelling, Puppetry, and Writing. Campers meet for classes Monday-Friday, 9am – 3:30 pm. A final presentation will be held for the public on the Delta and Pine Land Theatre main-stage in the Bologna Performing Arts Center. Campers are asked to bring their own sack lunch daily, and a lunch schedule will be provided prior to camp so you may come eat with your artist if you wish!
Plus Camp promotes the artistic development and creativity of our young artists!
