Mississippi Summer Arts Institute: PLUS Camp
Registration for the Janice Wyatt Mississippi Summer Arts Institute will open in February 2020!
Ages 5-11 (rising kindergartners – rising 6th graders)
Join us each July for a one-week, performance-oriented day camp for ages 5-11, centered on learning a choreographed medley of songs. Campers attend other visual and performing arts classes throughout the day. Campers meet for classes Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. A final presentation will be held for the public on the Delta and Pine Land Theatre main-stage in the Bologna Performing Arts Center. Campers are asked to bring their own sack lunch daily, and a lunch schedule will be provided prior to camp so you may come eat with your artist if you wish! Age groups eat picnic style in the BPAC each day, and have a morning snack break in the Mathews-Sanders Sculpture Garden on the north side of the BPAC.
Cost: $200, an all-inclusive fee which includes all art supplies, daily snacks, and an MSAI t-shirt. The sibling discount is $25. Please note the last day to request a refund (less a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold the spot is July 1, 2020, due to the DSU fiscal year). PLUS camp enrollment has a limited capacity of participants and registration is available on a first-come, first served basis. Reservations will not be taken over the phone. Please be advised that PLUS camp fills up quickly, and we must have your application and tuition payment to secure a place for your child. Methods of payment include checks, cash, and money orders. Checks should be made payable to Delta State. Please mail your payment to:
